Hey all,
Late in this past riding season, I started to notice a strange sound when I backed off the throttle while still in gear. The sound was like a "chirp" or whistling. It wasn't steady, it was more like a "pattern" which seemed to follow the engine pulse. The engine ran fine, there were no loose parts anywhere on the bike, nothing else seemed out of whack and it didn't happen all the time but did enough to get my attention as it hasn't ever done it before. My bike's a '96 with 4800 miles on odo.
Any ideas? Thanks!
